Law and More Supports Rent A Date For Charity

 In August 2006 Lisa Connell from North London was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour. Nobody knows if she has years or months to live.

Since then she has made it her personal goal to create awareness of brain tumours within the UK. She has also been working very closely with Brain Tumour UK to raise funds for the cause and in July 2007 ran the Great British 10k London run raising £3,000.00 for the charity.

The idea for Rent A Date For Charity came about after Lisa offered the chance for people to win a date with her cousin and her on her Myspace page. The rules were quite simple – the person who donated the most amount of money within a week would win the date. The idea soon evolved into Rent A Date For Charity.

There are two ways you can help raise funds using Rent A Date For Charity: you can either enter yourself into the auction as a candidate for a date or you can bid on potential dates.

To become a date candidate or bidder you first need to register. Once you have registered, you can now begin bidding on as many dates as you like! To place your own profile on the site you need to subscribe to become a 'date candidate'. The first time you enter the auction as a date candidate you will also be asked to subscribe. Once subscribed you can enter the auction as many times as you like and bid on as many candidates as you like.
