Estate Agents offer new Short Lets service for professionals...

Currell Residential, the established estate agent in North and East London has launched a new Short Lets service.  From this month Currell Residential will be offering tenants accommodation on a short term basis, from one to six months, in response to rising demand for more flexible tenancy lengths.

This new short let service will apply to over 200 apartments across London from Bayswater through the West End into Clerkenwell and The City.  Tenants will have the choice of staying in an apartment with a cleaning and laundry service, and 24hour concierge or in an apartment without these extra services.  Short let apartments give tenants the flexibility of renewing their tenancy contract month by month making this an ideal option for those on temporary secondments, internships or consultancy related jobs. 

Christian Thomas, Head of Lettings at Currell Residential comments:  “We have had an increased number of enquiries for short let apartments over the last year and have identified an opportunity to expand our established and successful lettings business.  As the business community is London is becoming increasingly international and transient there is a growing demand for flexible apartment accommodation, as an alternative to long term hotel stays.  Some people want the facilities provided by hotel such as a maid service and laundry whilst others are solely seeking flexibility.  We aim to provide apartments for both.”

An example of a short let apartment is a one bedroom apartment in St John’s House on Vine Street EC3, just to the east of The City which is available with a weekly rent of £895.  A two bedroom apartment in the same building is available at £1,280 per week.  Details of all short let availability is via www.currell.com or through any of the five residential offices.
