Fresh Fig Caipirinha
The national drink of Brazil, the Caipirinha gained its popularity in the 1950s and 1960s on the beaches of Rio and Sao Paulo State during the days of Jobim and Bossa Nova. Throw a Brazilian -themed party this summer and impress your friends with some fruity concotions such as the Fig Caipirinha....
50ml Leblon Cachaça
1 Fresh Lime
15ml Sugar Syrup
1 Fresh Fig skinned
Glass - Rocks
Cut the lime into 8 pieces and peel fig.
Muddle the lime, fig and sugar into a
Boston shaker. Add Leblon, add cubed
ice. Shake a few times.
