Top Indian capital markets lawyer joins Clifford Chance Rahul Guptan to join from Amarchand & Mangaldas & Suresh A. Shroff & Co

International law firm Clifford Chance announced today that leading Indian capital markets lawyer Rahul Guptan will join its global partnership.

The firm's India Group currently has over 195 members spread across over 16 offices in 12 countries.

Indian regulations do not currently allow foreign law firms to practise in India with the result that their India teams have to be based outside the country.  Mr Guptan will be based in the firm's Singapore office.
