Tax expert joins law group

Tax specialist George Bull has joined the committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants’ Solicitors Group.

A partner and head of the professional practices group at accountancy firm Baker Tilly, Mr Bull is an authority on personal and business tax.

He graduated from St Edmund Hall, University of Oxford, and has specialised in taxation for more than 30 years. While most of his career has been spent as a partner in the accounting profession, he has also headed the commercial services department of a law firm.

Mr Bull is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the International Bar Association; a Freeman of the City of London and an honorary member of The Law Society’s Law Management Section. He is also a member of the Tax Working Party of the Association of Partnership Practitioners.

He regularly lectures, broadcasts and writes on taxation and professional partnership issues and was a speaker at this year’s Solicitors Group annual conference.
