David Ellis joins Thomas Eggar LLP from AIG Investments Europe

 Thomas Eggar LLP, a leading law firm in the South, today announces the appointment of David Ellis as a Legal Director in its financial services and funds team. Based at Thomas Eggar LLP's London office, David will work alongside practice leader, Nick Rutter, expanding the firm's financial services and funds offering.

 David joins Thomas Eggar LLP from AIG Investments Europe where he was Legal Counsel. This strategic appointment is the latest in a line of City talent moving to Thomas Eggar LLP to take up senior positions.

With a background in funds, corporate finance and tax areas, David brings with him a wealth of valuable experience. In his new role, David will work specifically in the area of investments, collective investment schemes including hedge funds, private equity and property funds, derivatives, commodities, pensions and insurance and regulatory issues.
