CINTRA'S General Counsel To Join Lovells In Madrid

Lovells has expanded its Spanish corporate practice with the hire of Lucas Osorio formerly General Counsel at CINTRA.

Lucas Osorio is an Abogado del Estado (state lawyer) who is Secretary to the Board of Directors and General Counsel at CINTRA. CINTRA is one of the leading private developers of transport infrastructure in the world and an IBEX 35 Company controlled by Grupo Ferrovial. He has been involved in a number of significant transactions in recent years, including:

• the IPO of CINTRA
• the acquisition of BAA
• tendering for a large number of international infrastructure projects in Europe and the US, including a Greek roads project where Lovells advised a consortium, which included CINTRA

Before taking up his current position, Lucas Osorio spent three years as head of the legal support to the Corporate Development Division of Grupo Ferrovial. Previously, he served at the Ministry of Public Administration and was head of the Legal Cabinet at the ministries of Social Affairs and Education.
