Nixon Peabody boosts China practice with Salans hire

Nixon Peabody LLP has hired Yanwen Le who joins the firm’s China Practice as a Partner in the Shanghai office. Mr. Le joins the firm from Salans.

“Yanwen’s experience and practice are completely aligned with our clients’ needs,” said Henry Liu, Chairman and Managing Partner of the firm’s China Practice. “He has a history and demonstrated success in representing Chinese companies, multinational companies, financial institutions as well as a variety of parties in China-related mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, financing, and other matters important in doing business with China and in China.”

Mr. Le is a graduate of Shanghai International Studies University (B.A. and Economic Law Program). He also attended Laval University in Quebec, Canada, where he received his LL.B and his LL.M. Mr. Le is fluent in Chinese, English, and French.
