Field Fisher Waterhouse boosts Technology Group with hire

European law firm, Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP announces the appointment of partner Katrina Dick, who joins the firm from Lovells. Katrina joins the firm’s Technology Law Group which will now comprise a dedicated team of  12 partners and 22 other lawyers.
 
Katrina specialises in communications law and regulation, new media and information technology law. She has expertise advising on communications and technology supply and service agreements, IT outsourcing agreements, infrastructure and content agreements and satellite communications agreements. 
 
She provides clients with strategic and commercial advice on the European and UK communications regulatory environment as well as policy developments. Her practice draws on her prior experience working in the industry as senior corporate counsel at a communications and internet company.
 
Katrina’s appointment is the fifth lateral hire for Field Fisher Waterhouse since April and the second for the Technology Law Group which recently appointed technology partner and former Non-Executive Chairman at Bird & Bird, Hamish Sandison.
 
This latest lateral hire will further strengthen the firm’s well-recognised technology law practice which over the past year has seen a huge increase in both turnover and volume of deals.  The appointment of Katrina, who is listed in Chambers UK 2008 as a leading individual in Telecommunications, will also boost the firm's telecoms sector expertise.
