Clifford Chance Announces New Partner to Join its Paris Office

Clifford Chance LLP is pleased to announce that Reinhard Dammann is joining the Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice in its Paris office as a Partner in the Insolvency and Restructuring team. He will work with Clifford Chance insolvency specialist Partner Christian Lachèze and specialist Counsel Pierre Forget.
Reinhard Dammann, 48, specialises in insolvency law with a particular emphasis on international and cross border insolvency and restructuring, the European Insolvency Regulation and the new French trust  ("fiducie") law.

He acts for a broad spectrum of clients in this field including financial institutions, private equity funds, industrial corporations and insolvency trustees in France and abroad, including recently the court appointed representatives of the creditors of Eurotunnel.
Reinhard Dammann will also be in charge of leading the French-German Desk in Paris and developing cross border work between the two countries.

Reinhard Dammann began his career in 1986 as a teacher at the University of Munich. He joined White & Case in Paris in 1989 where he was made a Partner in 1997. He holds two degrees in Business Law and Political Science from French University of Aix-Marseilles III and has a doctorate in German Law.
