This heavily embellished behemoth of a restaurant is a must-see even if you don’t eat there.

Sitting more comfortably in Soho or Knightsbridge, this Camden-based restaurant is somewhat out of sync with one of London’s most ‘rock-and-roll’-centric areas.

However, the restaurant and bar is hugely popular with North West London’s jet-set, even if it means skinny jean-ed, floppy hair-ed lads brushing tables with your average WAG.

The rattling freight trains which run along the railway line right outside Gilgamesh luckily fail to distract from the delectable Pan-Asian cuisine. Come warmer weather the glass roof retracts for dining al-fresco. Worth a visit.
