Since its opening in 1999, Restaurant Martin Wishart has gained an international reputation for its exquisite cuisine and has earned a host of accolades.
The dedicated team of ten chefs serve up modern French cuisine, which is produced using the finest, freshest ingredients.Martin uses modern techniques and a unique style of cooking to combine classical traditions with light, unique flavours.

Both an A La Carte and a seven course Tasting Menu are available with dishes such as lobster and smoked haddock soufflé and roast halibut with pig trotters frequently featured on the menu. There is also a separate vegetarian A La Carte and Tasting Menu.
The menus change regularly and feature seasonal ingredients, organic where possible, which are carefully sourced from over 40 regular suppliers.

The food takes centre stage in the elegantly simple interior of the restaurant, which looks over the Water of Leith, and few would dispute that Martin Wishart’s is anything but simply the best.
