If Beach Blanket Babylon was a stately home, then its owner would probably be a somewhat slightly deranged collector of bizarre bric-a-brac and elaborate ornaments.
The venue bears some resemblance to a giant dressing up box and is dripping with random, yet beautiful, trinkets, costume jewellery and art pieces all juxtaposed against dramatic lighting, baroque furniture and log fires.
BBB is rammed with locals, visitors and celebrities so make sure you pull up a pew early or face elbowing your way to the bar. Sylish, unique and well worth a visit.
