Training Contracts

We recruit around 105 trainee solicitors each year across two intakes (March and September). Applications are welcome from law and non-law graduates. Our current starting salary for trainee solicitors is £38,000, rising to £43,200 in the second year of training.

From 1st June 2010 - 31st July 2010, penultimate year law undergraduates can apply for our training contracts for interview in September 2010. We will only be accepting applications for our September 2012 / March 2013 intakes. 

Final year non-law students can apply from the 1st November 2010 - 16th January 2011 for our September 2013 / March 2014 intakes.

Vacation placements

Allen & Overy offers 65 vacation placements across the year. The winter placement is for finalists and graduates who should apply from 1 October to 31 October 2010. Summer placements are for penultimate year undergraduates who should apply from 1 November 2010 to 16 January 2011.
