Sue Jenkins becomes head of Beachcroft’s employment team

National commercial law firm, Beachcroft LLP, has appointed Sue Jenkins to lead its Employment & Pensions group. 

Sue advises major corporates in the retail, transport and financial services sectors, and her clients include McDonald's, Royal London and Manchester United.  She has been at Beachcroft for 20 years and became a partner in 1998.  Sue, who takes over the role from Elizabeth Adams, is based at Beachcroft’s Manchester office.

The Employment & Pensions group has a total of 58 solicitors and 15 partners, who are located across the London, Bristol, Manchester, and Leeds offices, and has an established reputation as a leading adviser to HR professionals.

Sue Jenkins commented: “I’m honoured to take on the mantle from Liz Adams and I look forward to working closely with her as she retains a significant role within the firm, including as a Board member.  I am committed to growing our financial services reputation and to maintaining our unrivalled reputation in the health sector.  We will also be concentrating our efforts in our other key sectors - IT and telecoms and consumer goods & services.”

Elizabeth Adams established the national employment team in 1999 when Wansbroughs Willey Hargrave and Beachcroft Stanley merged to form Beachcroft Wansbroughs.  Since this time the team has quadrupled in size, and gained a reputation for technical excellence and the quality of its client relationships.
