IF the mere thought of another uncomfortable date filled with agonising silences, bad jokes and inappropriate remarks is enough to make you give up on love altogether, then let me introduce you to Click Tonight – a new unique online dating solution.

Former lawyer Kate Jackson is the co-founder of this new internet dating revolution, along with her brother Stephen.

Their aim is to abolish the whole awkwardness of the one-on-one date and make being a singleton fun again.

Clicktonight.com introduces the idea of dating with your mates where you’ll go out together and meet other groups for dinner, drinks or clubbing.

“The idea all came about whilst chatting with my brother one evening,” explains Kate. “Stephen was frustrated by the thought that on a Monday night, he could be at home eating a takeaway when he’d rather be in a restaurant with his friends and some pretty girls – and that there could just be some pretty girls who would rather be in a restaurant with him – the two groups just hadn’t met yet!”

Each group will have their own profile on the site that can be looked at by other members. You can send messages, texts, flirt with anyone you fancy and then perhaps arrange for your groups to hook up.

There is even an “Out Tonight” section where you can see who is hitting the town in your area this very evening, and regular Clicktonight.com parties where you can scope out those boys and girls you have spied on the site.

And the great thing is, if there is no chemistry, you can simply move on and continue to enjoy your night with your friends.

In February 2007 Kate quit the law to become a full time date doctor and now concentrates on following her dream of creating a social networking solution for single men and women.

“I really did enjoy working as a lawyer,” says Kate, “but I’d been there for a few years and I was ready to branch out and sink my teeth into something new.
“But my experiences within the law industry have proved invaluable for the creation of Click Tonight as we are constantly dealing with contract terms and conditions!”

Since the official launch of the site in May 2007, Clicktonight.com now has around 15000 members and can already boast a number of successful love matches.

“The site is aimed for those between 18-39 though the majority of our members are aged between 25-34”, says Kate. “We’ve had so much good feedback already and we've just recently launched the site nationwide too."
 
Gone are the days when finding a great girl or guy online meant endless numbers of dreary dates, fool proof escape plans if Mr Right turns out to be Mr Oh So Wrong, and the odd red carnation thrown in for good measure.
