Reed Smith announces appointment of Alexander R. Klett

International law firm Reed Smith has announced the appointment of partner Alexander R. Klett, an intellectual property (IP) specialist, to the firm’s Munich office from Gleiss Lutz. Alexander will be responsible for launching the firm’s IP practice in Munich.

Alexander R. Klett is a specialist in areas of copyright, trademark, design, unfair competition and media law. He has acted for several major international film, entertainment and high-tech companies.

Alexander’s appointment follows the lateral hire of Klaus Grossmann, a corporate expert, who joined the firm’s Munich office from Hammonds at the end of 2007.
