Mao Tong Joins Bryan Cave

Mao Tong has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave LLP as a partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Tong’s practice focuses on corporate and commercial transactions, cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, securities transactions and international joint ventures. He regularly advises multinational corporations and investors in corporate and commercial matters throughout China and Asia. He has spent most of his career practicing law in China. Tong received his J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 1986 and his B.A. from Wesleyan University in 1983.

Bryan Cave established an initial presence in Hong Kong in 1994 and in Shanghai in 1996. The firm then expanded its offerings in Asia with the creation of Bryan Cave International Trade LLC (BCIT) in 2005 and through its affiliation with China’s Alpha & Leader law firm in December 2007.
