TEAM BUILDING DAY FOR GROUPS OF 14-22
Groups will be divided between the kitchen and the dining room

Cook SchoolThe day begins at 9.30 am and finishes at 3.30 pm.

Appoint a head chef in your team and let him lead you through the creation of a menu with the help of our school resident chef.

The kitchen ‘brigade’ will then work together as a team to produce a meal worthy of restaurant service to be served to their ‘guests’.

The team in the kitchen will need to communicate well and delegate tasks to one another to produce a meal whilst ensuring the kitchen remains clean and organised.  Timing is of the essence, and poses the major challenge and the team will need to be extremely efficient successfully complete the task and the head chef must use employ his flair to deliver the highest standards.

The appointed head chef will meet with our school tutor chef before the event to discuss menu planning, staffing and to become familiarised with the kitchen.

You will need to invite 6 to 10 guests to offer their opinions on your abilities as a kitchen ‘brigade’, and your team will be in charge of serving the meal to the guests.

You can then relax together with a glass of wine and laugh at the greatest moments of the day.

This is a great way of discovering your strengths and weaknesses as a team.  Hopefully you will learn from this experience and take it back to your work place.

Prices:
Kitchen brigade (minimum of 8; maximum of 12) £165 per person
This includes coffee, fresh pastries, a light lunch and wine.

Chef’s whites and a hat will be provided for each person on the day.

Guests (maximum of 10) £40 per person
Please note that wine will be charged separately for guests in the dining room. 

Printed menus and recipes provided.

GROUPS OF 8-10: WHOLE DAY EXPERIENCE IN MODERN COOKERY COURSE
This is a great way to bond with your team in a unique and entertaining way.

The class begins at 9.30 am and finishes at 3.30 pm.

In this class you will:

• learn how to source quality seasonal ingredients
• prepare an impressive 3-course meal designed by Martin and Bruce which you can recreate with ease at home
• experience small class sizes that make our courses suitable for all levels of competency in the kitchen with more personal attention guaranteed

Sample Menu
Scallop risotto with lemon vinaigrette *** Roast loin of venison with braised Savoy cabbage and spätzle *** Vanilla panna cotta with pink rhubarb and ginger compote and praline tuile

You will get to taste your own creations at lunch time with a glass of wine.

Price: £130 per person
This includes coffee, fresh pastries, a light lunch and wine.
