The College of Law to open £5.5m centre in Manchester

The College of Law continues to expand with their announcement on April 21 2008, of the opening of a new centre to serve the needs of corporate Manchester.

Following the success of its corporate strategy in London Moorgate, the Manchester centre will provide the same excellent standards of learning and development for which the College is now internationally renowned. In addition to opening in Manchester, The College of Law is investing a further £2.0 million into its existing centre in Chester to reinforce its leading position across the region as a whole.

Tricia Chatterton, North West Regional Director at The College of Law, commented: “Without doubt, Manchester is the UK’s major regional centre for legal activity. We are opening a centre in the city in order to reinforce our commitment to the region and to meet the firms’ demands for access to excellence in legal training in Manchester. In so doing we will be supporting the local economy by encouraging the retention of legal talent and developing the region’s Managing Partners of the future".
