Taylor Wessing is awarded ISO 14001 Environmental Certification

Taylor Wessing's ISO 14001 certification comes as the firm prepares to move into its environmentally smart, sustainable new building at New Street Square later this year

Taylor Wessing LLP is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the internationally accepted standard, ISO 14001, further to certification by the BSI British Standards that the law firm has implemented an effective Environmental Management System (EMS).

Taylor Wessing's ISO 14001 certification comes as the firm prepares to move into its environmentally smart, sustainable new building at New Street Square later this year. 5 New Street Square carries an Excellent BREEAM rating, the BREEAM method being the most widely recognised design tool for assessing environmental impacts.

The awarding of this standard also complements the firm's position as one of the founding members of the Legal Sector Alliance, an inclusive movement of law firms and organisations committed to working collaboratively to encourage the legal profession to commit to environmental sustainability. By means of example, Taylor Wessing's Cambridge office is hosting a workshop on Tuesday 22 April aimed at encouraging participation from local law firms by raising awareness of the LSA, its purpose and objectives.
