Osborne Clarke Strengths Partnership By Four
OSBORNE CLARKE STRENGTHENS PARTNERSHIP BY FOUR
Osborne Clarke, in May 2008, promotes four lawyers in its 2008 partnership round. The promotions bring the size of OC's partnership to 113. Two of the promotions take place in the UK and two in the firm's German offices and represent a significant strengthening of the partnership in line with the firm's ambitions as a leading business law firm.
Simon Beswick, managing partner, Osborne Clarke, said:

The promotions are spread across the firm's corporate, real estate and employment practices, with Corporate benefiting from two new partners in the London and Cologne offices and real estate and employment gaining one apiece.
The successful candidates are:
John Baird (London/Real Estate)
John is a planning lawyer with experience in all aspects of planning and development activity and further complements OC's growing property practice.
Gerd Hoor (Cologne/Corporate)
Gerd's experience covers a wide range of corporate and tax matters, advising on national and cross-border transactions.
Annabel Lehnen (Cologne/Employment)
Annabel specialises in all aspects of employment law, particularly where there is a multi-jurisdictional dimension.
Simon Smith (London/Corporate)
Simon specialises in border M&A, private equity and group restructurings and has a growing reputation and profile advising clients in the internet/digital media sector.
