Norton Rose acquires new real estate team in Warsaw

International legal practice Norton Rose Piotr Strawa and Partners LP announced that two new partners and two Of Counsels will be joining the Warsaw office.

The team of four will join from Chadbourne & Parke where they specialise in real estate and M&A. David Dixon and Agnieszka Stankiewicz, who led the real estate practice at Chadbourne & Parke, join as partners and Magdalena Zyczkowska-Józwiak and Robert Adam Kozlowski join as Of Counsels.

David Dixon and Agnieszka Stankiewicz are regarded in Poland as a top tier real estate team with a strong client base. They advise individual and institutional investors, financial institutions, construction companies, title insurers, developers, landlords and tenants.

David Dixon co-chaired the real estate practice at Chadbourne & Parke in Warsaw and was heavily involved in the regional development of the real estate practice in CEE and CIS. He acts on behalf of investment banks, private equity funds, regional property funds, institutional investors and financial institutions in real estate transactions, including M&A of private and public companies.

Agnieszka Stankiewicz comes from a corporate finance background and her experience includes equity capital markets, M&A, privatisations and restructuring in a variety of sectors including telecoms, energy and real estate. Her practice currently focuses on real estate, project finance and representing financial institutions. She advised on numerous transactions regarding financing and acquisitions of real estate, such as financial restructuring in connection with the sale of shopping galleries.  Her corporate finance skills will complement our existing practice in this area.

Magdalena Zyczkowska-Józwiak and Adam Kozlowski join as Of Counsels.  Magdalena 's areas of expertise include real estate, construction and commercial law. She focuses her practice on real estate financing and acquisition of shopping galleries, office buildings and warehouses. Adam is experienced in real estate, energy and infrastructure related matters. He advised on numerous transactions connected with development of real properties. He is also focused on providing advice on environmental and competition issues.  Both Magdalena and Adam have been with Chadbourne & Parke since 2003.
