Norton Rose announces new capital markets partner in Frankfurt
International legal practice, Norton Ross LLP, announce the appointment of partner Martin Krause
Norton Rose LLP, the international legal practice, today announced that Martin Krause is to join as a partner in its Frankfurt office. Martin was a partner at Linklaters and will join Norton Rose LLP in Frankfurt.
Martin is specialised in the areas of debt capital markets and structured financial products, securitisation and upstream and downstream work for closed-ended funds. Additionally, Martin is a renowned expert in tax and regulatory matters. He advises a number of high profile investment banks and funds.
Ralf Springer, head of the German banking department, comments:
"This is a great opportunity to strengthen and expand our banking practice in Germany. Martin has a very good name in the market and he is the ideal supplement to our successful capital markets practice in Germany."
Rüdiger Litten, partner in the Capital Markets group, adds:

Martin is one of very few specialists in the market with great experience of complex debt capital markets products combined with in-depth knowledge of tax and regulatory matters. Our structured financial products and tax teams already advises a large number of major financial institutions, but Martin's experience will allow us to broaden the practice considerably with a focus on larger projects and new product development work."
