Bryan Cave Adds Partner in Hong Kong

Ignatius Hwang has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave as a Partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office.

Ignatius Hwang has joined the international law firm Bryan Cave as a Partner in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Ignatius will lead Bryan Cave’s projects practice in Asia, with support from experienced projects practitioners in the firm’s Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore offices.

Ignatius’s move to Bryan Cave follows the Hong Kong office’s recent addition of partners Mao Tong and Peter Chow. Ignatius will practice with Bryan Cave’s International Trade Client Service Group, which includes 75 professionals around the globe, 45 of them in Asia.

Ignatius has a leading reputation in public-private partnerships and project finance. He has extensive international experience as an energy and infrastructure lawyer. Ignatius has advised on power, oil and gas, utilities and resources projects throughout Asia, the Middle East and Australia. His client work ranges from greenfield development of projects to M&A and asset divestment. His clients are primarily governments and sponsors.

Ignatius received his LLB, with honors, in 1989 from the National University of Singapore and is a qualified legal practitioner in Singapore and the United Kingdom
