Baker & McKenzie LLP Announce New Head of Client Development

Julia Hayhoe appointed Head of Client Development for Baker & McKenzie LLP

Baker & McKenzie LLP today named Julia Hayhoe as its Head of Client Development in London. Julia will be responsible for planning and leading a value-adding client development strategy to enable the office to achieve its strategic aims. She will also be responsible for the continued development by London partners of the Firm's key client relationships and will head the London Business Development team. She will report to Beverly Landais, London's Business Development and Marketing Director.

Julia has 15 years of experience in the legal sector, having previously been a Director with Hildebrandt International for eight years. Her role at Hildebrandt includes advising law firms, investment banks and in-house legal departments on strategic and management issues. She focused on three interrelated areas: client relationship development, leadership and organizational development and strategy. 

She is qualified as a solicitor and practiced for a number of years as a commercial litigator.  While in private practice, Julia became a client relationship manager for major national retail and pharmaceutical clients and spent time on secondment to the in-house legal department of a large public company.

Julia earned her MBA, with Distinction, from Manchester Business School, and completed her Law Society Finals at the College of Law, Guildford. She earned her LLP, Honours, at University of Essex. She is also a graduate of The Principles & Practices of Organisational Behavior & Design, Columbia University, USA.
